His big heart and bad jokes will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank his homecare workers, nurses and doctors on the 4th and 5th N. Floors at the Victoria General Hospital for their compassionate care. Instead of flowers the family would appreciate donations in Orville's memory to Ten Ten Sinclair Housing or the Canadian Paraplegic Association - MB Division. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Cremation has taken place. Well, I guess you finally caught your limit, old friend. It was a great ride, wasn't it? When the snow geese cover the black fields this spring, you'll be back in spirit ... as unforgettable and genuine as the prairie crocus on a hidden hillside. Ollie, where you walked.... you left big tracks. We'll miss you, but never forget you. Rest in peace. John and Dianne - Posted by: John Lane (Friend) on: Feb 07, 2005

We were coworkers for years and I treasure my memories of Ollie. He was my mentor and reality check! My favourite memory is after I spent an entire day driving my son around Winnipeg, taking photos of Louis Riel sites for a school project. I discovered that I had forgotten to put a film in the camera, Ollie drove me back to all those sites and waited in the car while I retook the pictures. He didn't want Nat to be disappointed. At my retirement, his "you done good, kid" was the ultimate compliment. Rest in peace, Ollie. - Posted by: Harriet Hart (Co-Worker) on: Feb 07, 2005
